Saturday market @Blamey street
This is my first monochrome dslr shot. Not impressive. Somehow my liking to black and white photo have change....
Today and yesterday, i have doen nothing much... I am still awaiting my supervisor's comment in my draft write up and i want to have fresh look on the draft with fresh mind... so ending up... playing poker game on computer. It feel sur-real... some how the 'rush' was there and i can see why people lose a lot of money in casino... I will be very very very broke if i play poker in real life.
I don't want to really clean up my unit yet, as i will be moving out by end of this month. i will do it on the following week, as i have nothing planned for that week except packing my stuff for shipping... and photoshoot...

Normal monochrome settings tend to look 'flat' in digital compared with film. Much better if you took it in sepia.
Actually you don't really need to use any of those gimmicky settings. Just take in normal color mode. The use photoshop or picasa to desaturate the image. Then add more contrast to enhance the black & white highlights giving more character to the composition.
yea you are probably right, the picture is 'dull'. I have a black and white film pictures, they are fantastic..
